Trouble Shooter! Developed for EDF Energy Major Business. Game source code and artwork owned by Red Redemption.

“Trouble Shooter!” is sideways-scrolling point-and-click action game designed in a cool and retro ‘pixel art’ style to hearken back to a golden age of computer games. A typical office scrolls by and as it does so the player clicks on items of unused office equipment to target energy waste. When they miss a target a number of CO2 balloons rise to the top of the screen where they amass menacingly.

EDF Energy required a simple and fun game to occupy a mobile computer kiosk as part of their travelling corporate energy efficiency road show that took no more than 90 seconds to play and would work on a touch screen. The Trouble Shooter game provides a compelling, fun and bite-size way to directly address the issue of corporate sustainability and energy efficiency through the corporate road show, namely on how businesses can reduce their energy bills and be more efficient.

Trouble Shooter is available to play for free on our Makes You Think website: http://.makesyouthink.net
